Hello, I purchased an 8 Day Swiss Travel Pass thru the SBB website. I received the e-ticket and bar code. I want to purchase a train ticket from Milan to Lauterbrunnen. I have the SBB App., however I think I created the account before purchasing the pass, so my number is not linked to my account. Should the price of this ticket be covered under my pass? Or is the charge related to the fact that I’m departing from outside of Switzerland (Milan)?
When I go to purchase the ticket on the app. it gives me the option to manually enter my travel card, but the Swiss Pass isn’t a travelcard, so I do not know how I get the discount for having the Swiss Travel Pass?
After reading other comments, it appears that the conductor will ask for my Pass when I present my “discounted” ticket.
How do I book a train ticket and receive the benefits of the Swiss Travel Pass?
