I left my Plain Black Backpack in the overhead compartment in 2nd class wagon of the 11:00AM Luzerne - Geneva trip last March 17, 2025. I was seated next to the door and across the luggage storage area. Any info will be helpful. Thanks!

Thanks danhiel. I did report and paid the 50CHF express search in about 20minutes after I realized I lost it. I was hopeful the crew on the next train I boarded( going to visp) could just radio the previous train where I left it but the lady wasnt too helpful as she was busy checking tickets.

The express search order is the official way to have it found on another long-distance train and delivered to a station of your choice.

Thanks Roland. Yeah. I rang the hotline and paid the 50CHF right away but there was a problem on the reporting to do the search. I had to call them again and they told me they will update me 2-3 days. I then received an email from SBB saying they can’t find the bag anymore. 😔

It was probably not found right away but there is still great chances that it was found at the end of the day when all passengers deboarded. Your search request is being converted into a regular lost property report.

It may take up to three weeks to have news on it.

Thanks Roland. That is good to know. I was expecting for an update right away when the train reached Geneva coz i gave them a specific wagon, location and specifics in the train but there was none. It would be very nice tho to hear some positive update just in case. Thanks again!
