Milano Central to Bern with Swiss Travel Pass

If we separately purchase a ticket from Trenitalia from Milano Central to Domodossola (I), is it true that we can continue our journey to Bern with the same EC 60 train without alighting with our STP?

Yes, tjis is possible since the Swiss Travel Pass is vslid for all trains in Switzerland.

You can book a ticket from Milan to Bern, and declare the ‘GA Travel Pass’; by doing so, the system will book you a ticket from Milan to Bern, but you will only pay the part from the Milan to the Swiss border (Domodossola). For Domodossola to Bern you can show the Swiss Travel Pass.

Alternatively, you can book a ticket to Domodossola and simply continue on the same train using the Swiss Travel Pass, both is possible.

It is great that we can use STP to travel with the same EC60 train from Domodossola to Bern.

Just buy a ticket Milano - Domodossola for one of the EC services, and then just stay on the train. That is going to be cheapest. It is no necessary to reserve a seat all the way to Bern, as few people reserve seats on domestic Swiss services. So you will just be able to stay in them all the way.
