Missing reserved seat on SBB train?

Good day.
My work travel agency booked a SBB train (IC 675), from Basel SBB at 13:03 to Lugano on 27 June 2025, 1st class ticket. But I did not also obtain the usual reservation seat and the agency explained me that on SBB website it was not possible to obtain one.

So is there the risk that I will not be able to have a seat on that train? Is it still possible to reserve a seat, how?

It is not really necessary to reserve seats, but I don’t see any problem to do it:

Click on your train:

Click on “Select Tickets” and after “First Class” and “Seat reservation only”:

If the systems asks you to make a login or add the passengers, verify again that “First Class” is selected and check it before you pay:
