HalbTax Plus renewal & rest amount

Hi, when I go to local travel center and renew my HalbTax Plus, I’m said that I have “CHF X” left on the account. And that rest will be given to me as a voucher. It’s been few weeks and no voucher in the post nor via email, nor in the app.

When I login to swisspass.ch, I get to see that each HalbTax Plus wants me to “register IBAN” so that “for any repayments”. Which suggests that this should be the way to get the rest of the money back?

I tried to look in the official FAQ for that case, but there does not seem to be an explicit answer.

I recommend that you contact the SBB Contact Centre on +41 (0) 848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min.) to clarify the matter.

The SBB Contact Centre can then check your case in detail.

I called said Contact Centre and they confirmed that I was eligible for a voucher, but for some reason the email was never sent. So they restarted the process and now I have an e-mail in my inbox with said voucher.

If this rings a 🔔 and you were promised a voucher for your HalbTax Plus Restbetrag, then you might want to try to call the call centre to resolve that issue.
