QR Code ticket for my 13 yo son

Hi everyone,

We have Half Fare Card and my 13 yo son registered in Swiss Family Card.

We just purchased tickets using SBB app from :

Zurich to Uttigen
Oberwil im Simmental to Milano Centrale

There is a QR code generated for my son ticket from Oberwil im Simmental to Milano Centrale with price shown CHF 0 (Oberwil to Domodossola section), but there is no QR code ticket generated for my son from Zurich to Uttigen (only me and my wife QR code tickets generated)

Is this a normal condition that no QR code ticket generated for my 13 yo son from Zurich to Uttigen ? Can I just show my Swiss Family Card to the train inspector?

Yes, the Swiss Family Card has got a QR code and is the ticket for your son on public transit services in Switzerland while being accompanied by you.
