These services are offered by Trenitalia, the Italian railway company. The timetable is being updated the Italian way: without being in a hurry.
In other words, from experience, it is totally normal that the connections are only published a few weeks before. It is not a situation which creates head-ache at our end as we, the locals, do not book train tickets four months in advance. Simply keep watching the timetable and book the connection once it has been published.
