I am about to visit Switzerland, and have been able to get a lot of useful information from reading many of the discussions here, so thanks to all of you for that!
I have a Swiss Travel Pass (2nd class) for my trip, which I have added to the SBB Mobile app. There are a few day journeys that I’d like to convert to 1st class by buying a Day Class Upgrade or a Point-to-Point Upgrade. But those options are not available for purchase either in the app or on the website unless I explicitly select “Half Fare Travelcard” or “GA Travelcard, 2nd Class” as my travelcard. Is it OK to select either of them for the purpose of buying 1st class day passes at a discount? Or is there any other way to go about it?
