Activation error - Four day Swiss Family Pass

Hi,
I bought 4 Day Swiss Family pass on 28th June in Paris. I wanted to activate it starting 29th June to 2nd July but train conductor just informed me that my ticket was activated yesterday and I can’t use Pass on 2nd July. I had used Japan Rail pass where you have to activate the ticket so I did not realize that Swiss Family pass gets activated on purchase. I understand I should have read everything before making a Purchase but I wanted to check if I can rectify my mistake as we have travel plans for 2nd July.

I don’t think that it is possible to modify the dates because the pass is already valid, but you can try. You must visit a ticket office or call the SBB Contact Center:

0848 44 66 88 (24/7, waiting times may occur)
From a foreign country the number is: +41 51 225 78 56

The pass is not automatically valid from the day of purchase. It is valid from the day you indicate when purchasing, which indeed defaults to the day of purchase, but can be changed, prior to finalising. Just something to pay attention to when purchasing.
