have bought a 2 tickets from Zurich to Munich. But there is no seat allocate for us. How we know where will we be sitting?

Seat reservations are not included, you can choose any free one. look at the displays above the seats. However, it is recommended to reserve seats, these trains may be busy. You can do it on the site oebb.at, click on “Seat reservation only”.

BTW, how will I know the seat is reserve by someone when I on board the train.

It depends also of the date and time of travel. The trains may be busy on weekends.

Look at the displays above the seats, it is indicated if the seat is free or occupied.

October is ages away. You may well be the first person that has ticket for that train. And for trains that fare in the future it does indeed happen that you cannot reserve seats yet.
