How transfer invoicing of future HT to child so as to retain the loyalty bonus?

Currently paying for a child’s halftax card, however from next year I wish for them to pay the invoice. I do not wish for them to lose the loyalty bonus, so what is the best way to do this?

The half fare loyalty bonus can generally not be transferred to a different contract partner, even if the person mentioned on the travelcard remains the same. That ‘loyalty’ refers to the contract partner paying the bills, not to the ‘beneficiary’.

Same situation if your employer paid the half fare card so far and you quit the company: You’ll be charged full price for that first year you are paying privately again.
