Swiss Travel Pass - Cancelation/Refund

Hey. I would like to know what is the refund policy when buying the Swiss Travel Pass from your website. We were looking to buy it for the 21st to 26th of september. I created an account. If I have to cancel do you refund the whole amount? Do I have to pay a fee?

We are a customer support page run by volunteering travel experts. Thus, we are neither selling nor refunding anything 🙂

If you purchase the Swiss Travel Pass from SBB with an user account, you can cacel the STP for free until the day before its validity start date. The CHF 10 is requested when you purchase it as a guest.

But why to purchase the STP now if you unsure yet whether you will be able to make the trip? Purchasing it from SBB, you can also do so on the day of arrival, either online or at the ticket desk, at the same cost as now. Great, right?

Hey, thank you for your reply and clarification.

Basically right now I dont have my vacations aproved, altough they’re likely to be in 2 weeks. So I woukd like to refund if somehow they’re not aproved.

I wanted to buy some Mussum tickets, with the discount from the Swiss Travel Pass, because Im afraid i wont be able to at the time due to the high demand.

Does that make sense?

But, you do not need the Swiss Travel Pass to purchase the museum admission. They only want to see it once you enter the museum… So go ahead and purchase the tickets and purchase the STP shortly before arrival.
