Seat Reservations on Treno Gottardo

Hello,
I purchased four 1st class tickets going from Luzern to Locarno. How do I make seat reservations?
I am not using any discount cards as we are traveling by car except for this train.
Please let me know if I need to reserve seats now or if I should wait until closer to my departure date.

Seat reservations are to be made directly with the train operator, in your case SOB, given the connection offers seat reservations at all as not all trains accept reservations. Seat reservations are not common in our country.

Travelling by train for this route only, while you go will be going by car for the rest of the trip? You must spend a fortune on travel costs.

The most scenic routes and places in our country are not accessible by car.
