A strange situation with upgade class

I have a question about the cost of upgrading to the Gotthard Express (Art-Goldau –> Lugano). I have a Swiss Travel Pass 2nd class and I bought the seat for 24 CHF 1st class.
I paid 48 CHF for the upgrade, although I knew online that I only had to pay 20 CHF. I entered the data in the form fields, but I also activated “Advanced Search”, without making any changes to the additional fields that appeared.
After I upgraded, the amount seemed a bit high, so I re-filled the form to make sure that it displayed the same amount of 48 CHF. I no longer activated “Advanced Search” and it only showed me an upgrade of 20 CHF.
Which amount is correct? Why does a different amount appear, if I didn’t change anything in “Advanced Search”? Did I pay more than I should have?

Thanks for the reply. I bought the upgrade for 4 seats. Later I noticed the bug. That’s life. You have to lose. I don’t think I would get the difference back. I would also be happy with a voucher for the restaurant on the train. Thanks again.

Ideally, the SBB app would also include the Swiss Travel Pass, Standard and Flex, and then all the problems with international tourist transportation would be solved. The app is very good, but it would be even better with STP.
