Lleegauvaz24 We are travelling from the UK to Switzerland next June and want to know if when you have a consecutive day Swiss Travel Pass, you have to use it every day, we have 10 days when we will use it so can we buy a 15 day consecutive or do we have to buy a 15 day Flex.
RolandP Hello Lleegauvaz24 Welcome to the SBB Community. A 15-day consecutive Swiss Travel Pass is valid 15 days in a row. A 15-day Swiss Travel Pass can be used on 15 days within 1 month, while it is you to choose when you want to redeem each single day within that month. There is no need to purchase the tickets now; it is totally sufficient to purchase it shortly before arrival or even on the day of arrival. Does that make sense? Kind regards, Roland
Lleegauvaz24 Thanks. That makes sense. We will be in Switzerland for 13 days, some days in the mountains too so we will want to use the travel pass on 10 days only, is that allowed on a 15 day pass?
Krist Not using all the days on the pass is of course permitted. However do not forget: You also need to activate a day if you want to use the pass to obtain a discount on a mountain railways. For that reason it is not that useful.
