Where is my customer number

How can I find my customer number when j bought my half fare pass through a third party. The SBB site and app just get me nowhere.

Yes, for a good reason as there is no possibility to import your Swiss Half Fare Card (not half fare pass) into the SBB Mobile app when it has been purchased through a third-party reseller.

You could have purchased it through SBB, then it would appear in the SBB Mobile app.

As for now, simply use the PDF document together with your physical passport or identity card (no images of it on smart phones, no photo copies, both are not accepted).

I found this out shortly after I posted here. So I have copies of my voucher saved everywhere and will print one too.

Make sure you have an actualy pass, and not just a voucher. A voucher you would need to exchange here at the station.
I saw this happen recently. A group of tourists were unable to show a valid ticket, because they had only a voucher, and had neglected to exchange it. That ended up a costly mistake.

That’s odd, because the voucher and website I purchased from say nothing about this. The voucher clearly states to ‘show this voucher and passport ID’ when checked by an inspector. Nothing about exchanging it.
This is not a ‘train ticket’ for a specific journey, it is the Half Fare Pass.

The document that you hold in your fingers is named ‘Swiss Half Fare Card’. It entitles to purchase tickets at a reduced fare.

Ok, I’ve looked into it and what I have is the actual pass. Phew. I was very worried and confused. I was sent the official e-ticket for the Half Fare Pass with QR code, it’s an official SBB doc, not a third part voucher. Glad I’ve got that off my mind.

The Half Fare Card does not have the word “voucher” anywhere, so you should not call it that. It only adds confusion…

The website I purchased it on calls it a voucher with a big Voucher button to open it. So that is all I had to go on. And when I open their ‘voucher’ it is the official Swiss half fare pass e-ticket.
