station to station luggage transfer

hi everyone.

i would like to ask if i can do luggage transfer if i have a swiss travel pass and how long will the procedure takes? i see that basel luggage service opens at 8am and i need to catch a train at 820am. will i have enough time to drop it off?

This is very tight, depending on the number of clients waiting and the number of luggage. You need 10 minutes - at least - to get from the luggage office to the platforms.

Isn’t it feasible to transport the luggage yourself or to do the check-in the night before?

RolandP yes, i can do the night before. thanks for that since sbb can hold the luggage FOC for 4 days after arriving at the destination.
