Hello,
I’m planning a day trip on the Bernina line (Tirano ⇄ St. Moritz) and I’m considering buying the SBB Saver Day Pass. However, I couldn’t find any official confirmation on the SBB website or anywhere else online regarding this route.
I have two main questions before purchasing the pass:
Does the Saver Day Pass fully cover the fare for the Tirano ↔ St. Moritz route?
Is it possible to take a regular regional train (not the panoramic Bernina Express cars) so that no extra seat reservation or supplement is required?
I’m a bit hesitant to buy the Saver Day Pass without being 100% sure about these points, so if anyone has official information or recent personal experience, I’d really appreciate your help.
Thank you very much in advance!
