Good day. I am unable to purchase tickets for myself and three travel companions, Geneva to Zell am See. Error code: IP-25 (ID: D+|gABg)

Could you indicate us the date and time of travel? We could try to reproduce this error and perhaps find more information.

I guess that it is probably impossible to buy a through ticket due to replacement buses for a part of the journey. You could also try with another connection on the same day to see if the same error occurs.

The error code IP-25 often appears on SBB when there is an issue with booking an international connection, especially on routes involving other railway companies like the German or Austrian railways. SBB’s system may temporarily be unable to provide the offer for that specific journey or group size.

A great alternative is to book the ticket directly via the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), as Zell am See is in Austria. Please check the ticket availability on their official website: oebb.at.

Sorry, I cannot reproduce this error. I can purchase tickets for 4 people until the system asks me for a credit card.

It was perhaps a temporary error, you should try again. If it doesn’t work, you could also try on oebb.at or in the ÖBB app (Austrian Railways). Note that prices and conditions for the same tickets may be different as SBB. Austrian tickets are no more refundable after downloading as PDF file.
