Train delay due to shortage of staff

Dear sbb, you charge for your rides very high, for this price passagers expect good quality of service. This is inacceptable that you delay départures by 15 min due to shortage of staff ! Train Lausanne-Geneva 27.10.2025, supposed to leave at 8:46. Why do passagers need to stress in the morning because you cannot simply do your job and ensure all personnel is in place ?!

Google finds the official SBB complaint forms (actually reaching the customer service) if using the search terms ‘SBB complaint’.

The ticket that you purchase promises a ride from A to B on the same day of travel; it neither assures a punctual departure nor a punctual arrival.

If one falls in sick due to a medical issue, it is not always possible to immediately replace the person, although 15 minutes is a great performance.

Roland, if you have nothing to do in the morning besides sitting on the train for 15 minutes waiting for sbb to fix what it was not supposed to allow in the first place, you are welcome. For some people 15 min to lose is crucial.

I wouldn’t say you’re losing your time; on the contrary, you’re gaining 15 minutes during which you’re not absorbed by your daily tasks. You have time to think about existential questions, for example, what are 15 minutes compared to eternity?
