Hello. I tried to book Zurich-Dresden night train with sleepers car at 20 Dec. Sbb.ch tell me that no tickets available. But when I try to book at the same train but Zurich-Prague there are plenty of available tickets. Zurich-Dresden (direction Prague) night train booking issue

Hello. I tried to book Zurich-Dresden night train with sleepers car at 20 Dec. Sbb.ch tell me that no tickets available. But when I try to book at the same train but Zurich-Prague there are plenty of available tickets. I am not sure what is the problem here?

Danhiel tickets Zurich-Prague (single deluxe sleepers) are available via oebbtickets.at and through cd.cz (I am talking about 20 Dec, but I checked also other dates it was also available).
Right now I just bought ticket at sbb.ch for Zurich-Prague, even if I needed ticket to Dresden only )

I see a mismatch between the sites nightjet.com and oebb.at. It is possible that tickets to Prague are available.

You should be avare that this train may not stop in Dresden if no tickets are available and be rerouted due to engineering works. You should check this with the SBB before departure. According to the DB timetable a change in Leipzig will be necessary.

Danhiel I triple checked the train route and hope it will be fine, but thank you for your advice, I will ask sbb at the day of departure.

I also believe it is issue with sbb site\app because in oebbtickets.at I have option to buy ticket Zurich-Dresden for the same route and the same train number EN 40459 - I only didn’t like price, because Austrian site do not use my half-fare card for discount (or I just do not know how to use it).

You can add the Swiss Half Fare Card to your passenger profile on the ÖBB site. You have to click on the “show more” and then scroll down quite a bit though when adding the discount card.
