Trying to book a Saver fare from Zurich to Zermatt. A 2nd class saver fare comes up for 50CHF, but when I go to book it, it’s 94CHF. Why?
Can I purchase two tickets at the same time, or do I have to book them individually

Without a travel date, we can only guess.

The CHF 50 is most likely the half fare for half fare card users. If you do not have the (Swiss) Half Fare Card, the system will charge the full fare, that is most likely CHF 94. Note that prices shown are ‘starting at’ prices.

When purchasing tickets, it is important to select correctly whether you are eligible for a half-price discount (for example, an SHFC) or not. If you do not have a discount card, you must choose “Full fare”. The system will propose the best prices depending on availability (Supersaver Ticket, Saver Day Pass or Point-to-point ticket). Beware of the terms and conditions of Supersaver offers!

You can purchase two tickets at the same time; you just need to enter the personal details for each passenger.
