I understand Easyride to only be usable in the GA usable zone, but since I know certain short border excursions are covered, for example, Koblenz to Waldshut Bhf. That being the case, I asked two separate conductors if travel to Singen from Schaffhausen would be covered, both responded only if I took the bus to/from Stein am Rhein and then train on the Swiss side.
I don’t understand this. When I check the GA coverage map, neither the train nor the bus route to Singen are covered, but both conductors confidently said that the bus was covered. Today I took the regional train with easyride from Singen to Schaffhausen and was not billed for the zones in Germany. What am I missing here? I thought it didn’t matter how you travelled within a zone, as long as it isn’t Fehrnverkehr, Sparbillet, etc
