I have a question regarding a passenger’s date of birth on an international train ticket booked through the SBB app.
While booking, I accidentally entered the wrong date of birth for my companion . i have since updated the information to the correct datedirectly within the SBB app profile.
However, since this journey involves crossing borders, I am concerned if the initial error might cause any issues during ticket inspection or border control.
Will the updated DOB in the app be automatically reflected on the existing digital ticket (QR code)?
Do I need to get a new ticket issued, or is it sufficient to show the child’s passport alongside the app information if requested?
