There is a real lack of respect on trains lately. On completely full trains, some people sleep across seats, put their legs up, or occupy multiple places as if they were alone, without giving a single thought to others. Meanwhile, mothers like me are standing with our children, trying to keep them safe and calm, while perfectly capable adults choose comfort over basic consideration. Public transport is a shared space, and a minimum of awareness and respect for others should not be too much to ask.
