I have purchased a 5 day travel card... do I have to activate it on the dates

I purchased a 5 day travel card and will use it during the last week of January 2026. I have it starting on 23 January but I won’t get to Switzerland until the 25th of January. Do I need to change the card? I have not activated it yet?
The ChatBot isn’t helpful and I don’t know how to find out.

Thanks for asking for clarification.

It is a SwissPass (special) 4 days + 1 day. I selected 23 January as I didn’t know when I would be travelling. I will start in Switzerland on 25th and will use 5 days from then.

You are probably talking about a 5-days Swiss Travel Pass (not SwissPass).

If it is a consecutive pass, its validity will start on 23 Feb, until 28 Feb at 5:00 AM.

If it is a flex pass, you can start using it on the 25th, after having activated the first day of validity at activateyourpass.com
