Unable to purchase Zermatt to Milan tickets on sbb.ch due to error

Hello! I’m trying to purchase the following tickets:

Origin: Zermatt
Destination: Milano Centrale
Date: 13-02-2026
Time: 13:06
Fare: Saver (with or without half-fare card)

The itinerary search is shown below.

I am able to search for this itinerary successfully on sbb.ch, and proceed to “Select tickets.” However, when I select “Buy outward journey only,” an error appears that reads “An error occurred while processing your query,” as shown below.

The HTTP response is:
{"i18nKey":"sbb/zvs/zvs-cart/ITEM_COMBINATION_NOT_ALLOWED"}

I have tried selecting the other fare options, including Saver Flex and Regular, but encounter the same error. How can I purchase these tickets successfully?

To my bewilderment, you’re absolutely right — I’m able to proceed past the previous error when I try today. I have no idea why, but thank you nonetheless!
