Wrong half fare purchased (monthly vs yearly)

Hello,
I am under 25 and accidentally bought the 1-month Swiss Half Fare Card (120 CHF) instead of the annual Half Fare Travelcard Youth (120 CHF) last autumn.
Since the price is identical and I am eligible for the Youth rate, can I have this converted to a yearly subscription backdated to my purchase date?
Has anyone successfully done this at a ticket counter or via the contact center?

Why do you ask here and not directly an agent at the counter or at the Contact Center? 😇

So far we have not had anyone here asking for help after having done this same mistake.

I don’t think that’s possible. This is not provided for in the system. You can buy an annual Half Fare Travelcard Youth on your next visit.

Thank you for the answer. I am asking here because I was hoping to find someone who had already faced this specific situation.
I am not in Switzerland right now and since I think my best shot is speaking to an agent in person, I wanted to confirm if that was the right approach before traveling back.
