Hello! I read about the station to station shipping services for luggage and had a question about how the luggage registration is linked to journey ticket. I wish to do the below, and would appreciate some feedback on the feasibility of this plan:
1) Check-in luggage at Zermatt station for pick up at Luzern, I wish to send it on a Wednesday and the luggage calculator estimates my luggage will be available for pickup at Luzern on following Friday after 9:00AM.
2) I will be traveling from Zermatt to Interlaken, and will stay there till Friday.
3) On Friday, I will travel from Interlaken to Luzern and plan to reach by noon at which point I wish to collect my checked-in luggage
Is it possible to follow these steps? As I do not have a direct Zermatt to Luzern ticket, will I be allowed to check-in my luggage to Luzern? I do not mind making advance ticket purchases for both the journeys, if it helps.
