Question regarding the half-fare travel card.

I have a question regarding the reduced fare ½ ticket.
I accidentally purchased tickets using the half-fare travel card, which I don’t own.
Since I do not have a half-fare travel card, I would like to know if it is possible to pay the difference to the full price or if it is possible to cancel the current ticket and purchase it again.
I understand this is my mistake, and I would greatly appreciate it if this could be resolved.

It depends on the ticket type. What is the ticket about? What is the ticket’s title?

Did you purchase it as a guest or did you create a customer account before purchase?

You do not opt for purchasing the Swiss Half Fare Card?

RolandP Hello, thank you for your reply. The ticket I purchased is a 2nd Class Supersaver Ticket from Interlaken West to Basel. I created a customer account before purchasing the tickets. We are not considering purchasing a Swiss Half Fare Card.

It is not possible to cancel the ticket. And it is not possible to alter the ticket.

Keep the tickets you currently have.

In addition, you now need:

For each 2nd Class Supersaver Ticket from Interlaken West to Basel, please purchase another Point-to-point ticket for the same route and person BUT normal offer (CHF 32.00 per ticket). For children, you can purchase the Children Day Pass.

Make sure that each Point-to-point ticket normal fare ticket @ ½ has got the identical passenger information as the Supersaver ticket @ ½.

Now, each adult should have two tickets: a Supersaver and a normal fare Point-to-ticket. They are valid together for travel.

The reason for Roland’ s excellent advice is: Two half fare tickets for the same route, date and person are equal to one full fare ticket. This way, you’ll pay the required difference.

Now just make sure to catch the specific train mentioned on the supersaver ticket, as that ticket is valid only on it. You still saved a smaller amount by purchasing it.
