My wife and I have SBB tickets from Milan to Zermatt for the day we fly into Milan. We originally planned to stay in Zermatt for one night but have decided to stay longer. We originally bought our SBB tickets as a guest, a decision I now regret. I am international (USA) and have seen I need to call SBBto alter my ticket since I bought them as a guest. My question is this - should I purchase my new departing ticket before I call SBB? Or should I wait until I’m on the phone with an SBB agent to purchase the new ticket?
I’m hopeful to recoup the cost of the incorrect date but know it was my own fault for buying as a guest originally.
