Hello, on Jan 26 the train from GVA Airport at 23:11 was cancelled due to a blocking door; my destination was Villeneuve (in the night repairs are done as from Villeneuve until St Maurice)-my final destination was Aigle; there was no alternative and I had to go to IBIS budget for the night; the next day I took the 07:55 train to Aigle. Can I get a refund form from SBB as was told at Aigle railwaystation.

This is not SBB Customer Service. This site is based off the idea of experienced customers volountairily helping others. In order to contact SBB, you can contact them by phone: (SBB Contact Center) at 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min., available 24/7) or if calling from abroad: +41 848 44 66 88 or via the live-chat here (scroll down a fair bit). It should also be possible to get your refund at a station with a counter. Be sure to bring the reciepts of the hotel.

I can only get a refund tickets - due to the trainfailure at 23:11 at Geneva Airport I had to go to a hotel and travel the next day; how can I be compensated for the hotelcosts??

Did you contact the train personnel? They would have issued a voucher for the hotel. It is unlikely that the passenger has to organise by themselves.
