Good morning, everyone. I’m planning a trip for next April. My itinerary is to leave Milan on April 7th and visit Jungfraujoch and Interlaken, then spend the night in Bern. On April 8th, I’ll enjoy Bern, and on April 9th, I’ll leave for Paris. I’d appreciate any travel recommendations, suggestions on what to do, and whether it’s worth buying a Swiss Pass, considering I’ll only be in Switzerland for two days. Thank you.Tha

I think for this itinerary, the cheapest offer is to get a saver’s daypass for the 7th and 9th and a local pass (for example Libero Daypass zones 100 and 101 which covers the city of Bern) if the latter isn’t included in the hotel stay. The saver’s daypasses are valid on all transit in Switzerland except the trains up to the Jungfraujoch (which are really expensive… a trip via Mount Rigi and Luzern would be fully included in the saver’s daypass and the view is imo nicer). The Daypass is also valid on the internationals trains from Domodossola (I) or from Chiasso when coming from Milano and until Vallorbe or Basel SBB for your onwards journey to Paris.
Buying the saver’s daypass earlier is cheaper, they are subject to dynamic pricing.

Note that there are maintenance works being carried out between Milano and Domodossola, which might affect your train. Check the online schedule shortly before your trip or use a different route entirely
(Suggestion: Milano - Arth-Goldau - Rigi Kulm (by funicular) - Vitznau (by funicular) - Luzern (by Ship) - Bern. This route is covered fully by the saver’s daypass.
Also note that a Swiss Pass plastic card onto which swiss people can load tickets and mainly monthly/yearly passes. It is not meant to be used by tourists.

So you want to travel Milano - Interlaken - Jungfraujoch on day1?

The Jungfraujoch is a very expensive trip, and you should not untertake that if the weather is not good. So as suggested buy a Saver Day Pass, and only buy the ticket to the Jungfraujoch once you are here and have seen the weather.

For the last day just buy a ticket Bern - Paris. No need for a pass for that day as well.
