I would like to ask for advice regarding a ticket refund or exchange.
I booked three tickets for the route Genève-Aéroport → Vallorcine (F) → Chamonix-Mont-Blanc under the “Regular offer,” as it indicated that refund and exchange were possible. Since the trip is still about three months away, flexibility was important to us.
However, a few days after booking, we realized that we had selected the wrong travel date.
When I tried to change or refund the tickets:
- The mobile app indicated that this was not possible and directed me to the website.
- On the website, a refund button initially appeared, but after clicking it, the page briefly loaded and then the refund button disappeared.
- No other information or error message was shown, so I was unable to proceed further.
After some research, I believe this may be because part of the journey crosses the Swiss–French border, and the second segment (Vallorcine → Chamonix) has stricter conditions.
Still, we specifically chose a more expensive ticket because it was labeled as refundable/exchangeable, so this situation is quite confusing.
I would appreciate any advice on the following:
- Is it possible to change the travel date (from 27 June to 26 June)?
- If not, is there any way to request a refund and rebook?
