Do you have the physical Swiss Pass Card new just for the GA night? If so, that would explain the behaviour. It will start to be displayed once a ticket inspector has scanned the card itself. Before that, you need to use the Swisspass card itself.
Otherwise, your Swisspass is for some reason blocked. This could be because you missed payment deadlines for another ticket or for other reasons. In that case, you should probably check with SBB directly at a counter or through the contact center by phone.
