I have always heard that Switzerland is the most punctual country in the world—especially when it comes to trains. But in my experience, that is not true at all. Every time I travel in Bern or Zurich, there are delays of 15 to 60 minutes. And this doesn’t just happen occasionally—it happens almost every day🇨🇭🚄⏰👎👎

Facts please. I’ve never experienced such delays to Zurich and Bern during the last approx 5 decades, and I do travel to Zurich 3 times a week.
Only a few particular trains held up abroad may have such delays when entering the country. But that’s not a problem caused in Switzerland, and there are alternate connections leaving the border stations on time (as they didn’t leave the country).
