Activating a Swiss Travel Pass Flex

I purchased the pass online and received the confirmation email. It says not good for travel and I need to activate the day before every first journey. Do I ever get an actual pass? What do I need to show to use the pass?

Good day.

You should have received information how to activate the pass through this website: www.activateyourpass.com

After activating the day, you will get a QR code valid for the activated day (to be scanned by the ticket inspector).

In addition, for the ticket check on board the train, you will need your physical passport or official identity card (no photos or paper copies).

Thank you for that reply. Although I read what I could online, I never saw where I would get a QR code, which I believe effectively gives me a “travel pass” for the day I activate it. I understand now.
