I am writing regarding the charges associated with the renewal of my travel subscription. I sincerely apologize for the situation and any inconvenience caused.
Unfortunately, I was under the impression that my subscription would not be automatically renewed if I did not actively renew or pay for it. As I had initially purchased it under a loyalty discount, I believed that non-payment would simply result in the subscription ending. I now understand that this was incorrect, and that I was required to cancel it manually.
Compounding this misunderstanding, I recently changed my residence, and as a result, I did not receive any invoices or notifications sent to my previous address. This meant I was unaware of both the renewal and the subsequent charges.
I fully acknowledge my oversight and take responsibility for not verifying the cancellation terms more carefully. However, I kindly ask for your understanding given my situation. I am currently a student with limited financial means, and the accumulated charges have become very difficult for me to manage.
I would be extremely grateful if you could consider reducing or waiving part of the fees, or offering a possible payment arrangement. I genuinely value your services and would appreciate any support you can provide in resolving this matter.
