I have a dog that is less than 30cm tall so I know that I can travel with my dog for free provided I have him in a transport box, basket or other animal-friendly container.
Assuming that the dog stays in the container the whole journey and the container is on my lap or under my seat…..Does this container need to be completely closed or can the dog’s head be sticking out. I am trying to work out if an easily foldable animal carrier is acceptable. One that I can fold up easily into my rucksack once we are off the train.
