Swiss Travel Pass and construction issue

Hello, I would like to ask for some advice regarding my trip from Italy to Switzerland.

On June 3, I am planning to take EC60 departing from Milano Centrale at 07:10 and arriving in Spiez at 09:53.

I have already purchased a 2nd class Swiss Travel Pass, so I understand that I only need to purchase the ticket for the Italian section from Milano Centrale to Domodossola.

When booking EC60 on the SBB website, is it correct to select “GA Travelcard 2nd class” so that the Swiss section is considered covered by the Swiss Travel Pass?

Also, I have seen information about construction work between Domodossola and Iselle di Trasquera. Will EC60 on the above schedule still operate normally, or will there be replacement buses or transfers?

I would buy only a ticket Milano - Domodossola on Trenitalia website or in Trenitalia app. As you start your travel in Italy, it is easier to mange the ticket in case of problems or if you change your plans.

This train still operates normally.

I understand. I will purchase only the Milano–Domodossola ticket via the Trenitalia website, and use my Swiss Travel Pass from Domodossola onward.

I’m also relieved to hear that EC60 is still operating normally on that date.
