Hello! Last Sunday I purchased two half fare cards for my upcoming trip to Switzerland but I mistakenly selected the incorrect dates to start the passes. Within 5 minutes of making the purchase I realized my error and attempted to cancel the tickets, per the email instructions I received. Because I am out of the country, it wouldn’t let me cancel. I emailed to ticketshop@sbb.ch within 15 minutes. It’s been nearly a week and I’ve yet to receive a response. I would like to cancel the tickets so I can purchase ones with the correct start dates. How can I get ahold of someone to assist me?

Not sure who has told you to use an e-mail address to request the ticket refund. SBB cannot be contacted by e-mail.

Provided you had purchased the Swiss Half Fare Card from SBB:
Simply use the search engine of your preference and enter keywords ‘SBB refund’ and the search result will be this website

There is no guarantee that your Swiss Half Fare Card will be refunded. As a rule of thumb, tickets that are or were valid are only refunded if you have a proof of non-use by some train staff.
