Can someone please confirm....I am about to purchase 2, First class, Supersaver train tickets from Zurich to Geneva for August. 1.Is it correct that I don't have to book a particular train time (as we're arriving from an international flight, and can't confirm any delays at this stage)? 2. Also, it is unnecessary to book a first class seat? 3. Will the ticket/confirmation I get from the SBB website be adequate to use on the train or do I need to swap it for an actual ticket when arriving at Zurich train station? 4. Will it be OK to have 2 large suitcases with us in the carriage? Thanking you in advance.

Supersaver tickets are tied to the connection chosen upon ticket purchase. We do not recommend purchasing Supersaver tickets when arriving by air; they become invalid once you missed the booked train which is a likely scenario with air travel involved.

Rather look for a Saver Day Pass valid on any train/connection.

Online tickets are good for travel, no exchange needed.

Whether 1st class is better? Yes for a 3hrs travel following an international flight.

Large suitcases can become an issue. Everyone is nowadays travelling with XXL bags. You must not block access doors or emergency equipment with your baggage.
