Swisspass fare for zurich to milan ticket (return)

I have bought a return ticket from Zurich to Milan using my swisspass. The outpart of the journey is within the 15 day swisspass period, my return falls outside of the 15 days. Should there be a price adjustment for the return leg given this is a reduced fare ticket? Or should i buy a day pass for the return leg? Thanks

This is indeed a problem. You cannot purchase a return ticket if the Swiss Travel Pass (not Swisspass) does not cover both legs. The latter must be valid for the return as well. The special Swiss Travel Pass fare is only possible if you combine the international ticket for Italy with a valid Swiss Travel Pass, it cannot be combined with day pass tickets.
