Using family card

I was able to purchase saver day pass for 2 kids free (with 2 adults half fare card) from zurich to zermatt in august but then While booking saver say pass for a different day (3 days later), it doesnt show kids for free (from zermatt to Interlaken). Any idea why?

Good day.

The Swiss Family Card is a valid ticket for the kids while being accompanied by a parent having a valid ticket. Why would you want getting another ticket for the kids? Simply purchase a ticket for the parents and show them together with the Swiss Family Card upon ticket check.

Interesting you were able to do that.

With the family card you do not need tickets at all. So the kids travel without a ticket. Conductors often do hand out fake child tickets to kids though, as a kind of memento for the train ride.
