I and my wife travelled from interlaken to basel sbb. Then to Badel BD bhf to get our tax free forms stamped
Despite 5 attempts and being sent back again to Basel SBB
Since there was no officer in the office we had to then rush to catch our train to brussels

Now what is the way forward

I am suffering because of absence of a officer who was supposed to be there

Where did you find that an officer was supposed to be there? No Swiss Custom Offices are available at Basel SBB and Basel Bad Bf. Only sporadic controls take place.

The german customs office, the vat refund locations on global blue and VaT refund office outside the gate all mentioned that there is always an officer there.
After I rang the bell to the door
Even the officer who answered told that the officer will be here soon

But the officer never came
