Tickets for Wengen-Männlichen Aerial Cableway

Hello. According to this website, https://www.maennlichen.ch/en/summer/book-here/tickets-300.html?, you can purchase tickets for the Wengen-Männlichen Aerial Cableway. However, when I click the link, there is no option to select tickets for this gondola.

Do I need to purchase tickets in advance? If so, how do I do so?

The idea is that the SBB timetable has the start/end point preselected when accessing the SBB site using the buttons from the Männlichen webite. It seems that it does not work any longer. That’s something the website administrator has to fix.

We do not suggest purchasing tickets for mountain excurses in advance. You can well do so on-site on the day of travel or a day before earliest, once you know the weather forecast and you can be certain that they are operating.

Never ever ‘secure’ your (expensive) cableway tickets to summits by purchasing them in advance!
There’s absolutely no point doing so, as tickets are always sold in unlimited numbers for the same price, regardless of the sales channel. Furthermore, refunds (e.g. bad weather, storm) are usually not accepted according to their T&C.

You can however buy your cable car tickets also at other stations. So if you are starting your excursion in eg. Interlaken you can just buy a ticket “Interlaken - Mannlichen” at the station in Interlaken. In fact, if you want to do the panorama trail, then just tell the ticket clerk you want to a ticket to Mannlichen, and back from Kleine Scheidegg. That way you do not have to queue up at a ticket office a second time…
