Just keep in mind that travelling with four bikes the train’s Gotthard route and further up to Oberalp-Pass might be challenging. Bike transportation is not guaranteed and subject to sufficient space, even if you hold a bike ticket. On a sunny day like today, the IR26 trains have to refuse travellers with bikes, as there are simply to many and the safety is no longer given.
You should not travel in the morning, yet in the afternoon, against the flow.
