Delays Lucerne–Zurich route

SBB is an absolute joke. In ONE WEEK I’ve had TWO delays of around an hour on the Lucerne–Zurich route. How is this acceptable when tickets cost a fortune?

We’re paying ridiculous prices for a service that can’t even run on time. Every time there’s a delay, passengers are left scrambling to make connections while SBB keeps raising fares and pretending everything is fine.

If you’re charging premium Swiss prices, then deliver a premium service. Two one-hour delays in a single week is embarrassing. Fix the Lucerne–Zurich line and start treating passengers like customers instead of walking wallets.

I happen to commute on that very line and am generally satisfied by the punctuality. In one year of commuting, I had once the occurence of a delay which was about 50 minutes, but otherwise, delays are between 0 and 5 minutes for most trains.
Note that your ticket does in fact not guarantee you to be on time - you pay for transportation primarily. If, due to the delay, your jouney can no longer fulfill its purpose, you can get a full refund.
Note furthermore that you are entitled to a compensation of 25% of the ticket price for a delay of at least one hour. Both of these can be claimed here.
