Is it possible to take seven25 ticket as online and use it?

Because i will purchase it for another person who will come to Switzerland from another country. So even if i take the ticket as a paper i can give her. Therefore i would like to learn whether you would give online ticket or QR code.

The Seven25 subscription is referenced on the SwissPass card. If the person does not have a SwissPass card yet, we need a passport photo and the ID for the issuance. We recommend to buy the card as soon as the person can go to an SBB counter.
