3 months stay in Basel with daily tram commute

Hi, I’m a non eu citizen that will be staying in Basel for 3 months and having to travel daily by tram to my office. What would be the best option for me in terms of ticket?would it be the half fare (but this will require me to buy a ticket every day) or will it be better for me to use other passes (u-abo maybe).
